Data Lifeboat allows any Flickr member to make an archive of Flickr photos and their metadata. With in-built consent, you can also archive other people’s photos, and with the README feature, describe why you made this particular archive and things to watch out for, for future viewers.
The Commons Explorer is a website for exploring the photos in the Flickr Commons program. It allows you to look across the photographs in the Commons, in an interface that’s richer than search results.
Flickypedia is a tool for copying freely-licensed photos from Flickr to Wikimedia Commons. Find out more in our introductory blog post or check out the code on GitHub.
Flickr URL parser is a Python library which parses Flickr URLs, and tells you what the URL points to – a single photo, an album, a gallery, and so on.
This is a toy to help you pull photos out of Flickr. You enter a Flickr URL, and it shows you a list of photos that can be viewed at that URL. Give it a try, or browse the code on GitHub.
